DAY 01 : ARRIVE SRINAGAR
Upon your arrival at Sheikhul-Alam International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. After completing the arrival formalities, you will be escorted to your designated accommodation, be it a hotel or a houseboat.
In the evening, take advantage of your leisure time to unwind and soak in the tranquil ambiance of the houseboat. Relax on the porch with a cup of tea or coffee, marveling at the serene vistas of the lake surrounding you. DAY 02 : SRINAGAR HERITAGE WALK TOUR
After breakfast, get ready for a heritage walk through the old city of Srinagar accompanied by our knowledgeable local tour guide. Explore the rich cultural and religious heritage of the area, visiting some of the most popular and revered Sufi shrines and historical mosques.
Our first stop will be the Sheikh Hamza Mukhdoomi Shrine, known for its spiritual significance and architectural beauty. Next, we will visit the Naqashband Sahib Shrine, where devotees gather to pay their respects to the Sufi saint.
We will then proceed to the historic Jamia Masjid, a grand mosque known for its intricate wooden architecture and vast courtyard. Finally, we will visit the Khanqahi Moula, one of the oldest and most revered shrines in Srinagar.
Throughout the walk, our guide will provide insights into the cultural, religious, and historical significance of each site, offering you a deeper understanding of Srinagar's rich heritage. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
DAY 03 : SRINAGAR LOCAL SIGHTSEEING TOUR
Today, we will go on a journey to explore the enchanting Mughal Gardens of Srinagar, which are renowned for their beauty and historical significance.
Nishat Bagh, situated on the eastern shore of the picturesque Dal Lake, is our first stop. Known as the 'Garden of Delight,' it is the largest Mughal garden in Jammu and Kashmir. Nestled amidst stunning hills and mountains, Nishat Bagh boasts twelve terraces and offers breathtaking views of the Zabarwan Mountains and the Pir Panjal Range.
Next, we visit Shalimar Bagh, another masterpiece of Mughal architecture built by Emperor Jahangir. This lush garden, located on the banks of Dal Lake, is adorned with rare and exotic flora. Its three terraces are adorned with remarkable structures such as Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khas, Zenana Terrace, and the Black Pavilion. The garden is also renowned for its hundreds of fountains that add to its charm.
As we stroll through these magnificent gardens, we will immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature and marvel at the architectural wonders of the Mughal era.
Hazratbal Shrine, revered as the holiest shrine in Kashmir, holds a significant place in the hearts of devotees. It is home to a precious relic – a hair strand believed to belong to Prophet Mohammed, known as the Moi-e-Muqaddas or 'the relic'. The shrine derives its name from 'Hazrat', meaning holy or respected, and 'Bal', signifying place, thus symbolizing a 'holy place' or a 'respected place'.
Initially established by Inayat Begum, the daughter of Khwaja Nur-ud-Din Eshai and the custodian of the holy relic, Hazratbal Shrine saw its first construction in the 17th century during the reign of Emperor Shah Jahan. Initially named Ishrat Jahan, it was transformed into a prayer hall in 1634 by Shah Jahan's order. The present-day structure, commenced in 1968, was completed after 11 years of meticulous construction, culminating in 1979.
Within the walls of this revered shrine lie strands of hair believed by many Muslims to belong to the Islamic prophet Muhammad. The journey of this relic to Kashmir traces back to Syed Abdullah Madani, a purported descendant of Prophet Muhammad. He brought the relic to Kashmir from Medina, settling in the South Indian city of Bijapur in 1635, amidst the expansion of the Islamic Mughal Empire across India. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
DAY 04 : SRINAGAR - GULMARG - SRINAGAR
After breakfast at your Hotel/Houseboat, embark on a journey to the captivating valleys of Gulmarg, also known as the Meadow of Flowers, situated at an altitude of Known for its unparalleled beauty and charm.
Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the stunning scenery and explore the various attractions Gulmarg has to offer. Opt for the famous Gulmarg gondola cable car ride, which provides breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Alternatively, you can embark on a short trek to Khilanmarg to witness panoramic vistas of the Himalayan range.
En route from Tangmarg to Gulmarg, take a detour to visit the revered Sufi shrine of Baba Reshi. Named after the esteemed Sufi saint Baba Payamuddin Reshi, who was a courtier of the 15th-century Kashmiri king Zainul-Abidin, this shrine holds great spiritual significance. Baba Reshi is renowned for his selflessness and dedication to serving the common people, having relinquished all his belongings for their welfare. He lived a simple life of meditation, and the location where he meditated eventually became the site of his tomb and a gathering place for his disciples. Pay your respects and soak in the serene atmosphere of this sacred place before continuing your journey to Gulmarg.
After a day of exploration and spiritual rejuvenation, return to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
DAY 05 : SRINAGAR - PAHALGAM - SRINAGAR
Today, go on a mesmerizing drive through the scenic trails that connect Srinagar and Pahalgam. En route, you may have the opportunity to visit the saffron fields, adding to the charm of your journey.
Pahalgam, also known as the Valley of Shepherds, is one of India's most popular hill stations, and for good reason. Its old-world charm and breathtaking natural beauty will captivate you from the moment you arrive.
Before reaching the valley of Pahalgam, make a stop at the famous Sufi shrine called Aishmuqam. This shrine, dedicated to Sheikh Zain-ud-din, one of the chief disciples of Nund Rishi, is among the most visited and prominent shrines in Kashmir. Sheikh Zain-ud-din, known for his teachings about Allah, spent much of his time preaching in this area.
The shrine of Hazrat Azin-ud-Din Wali is perched atop a hill lock, about 20 km before the famous hill resort of Pahalgam. The mausoleum, located inside a deep cave, stands about 100 meters higher than the main road. Village Aishmuqam is renowned throughout Kashmir due to the historical significance of the shrine. Sheikh Zain-ud-din, originally known as Zia Singh before his conversion, hailed from the ruling Rajas of Kishtwar and was a prince before embracing his spiritual path.
After paying your respects at the shrine, continue your journey to Pahalgam. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the beauty of this picturesque valley and explore its charming surroundings.
In the evening, return to Srinagar, filled with memories of the serene landscapes and spiritual experiences of the day. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
DAY 06 : SRINAGAR - YUSMARG - SRINAGAR
Today, set out for a delightful journey to Yusmarg, also known as the 'Meadow of Jesus', located in the Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, approximately 53 km south of Srinagar.
Yusmarg is a hill station renowned for its stunning landscapes, young pine nurseries, lush green pastures, and picturesque water bodies such as Nilnag, Doodhganga, and a newly created artificial dam, all enhancing the beauty of the meadows. Nature has blessed Yusmarg with diverse flora and fauna, making it a paradise for trekkers and nature lovers alike.
As you make your way to Yusmarg, take the opportunity to visit another highly revered Sufi shrine, Chrari Sharief. Dedicated to Sheikh Noor Din Noorani, a Sufi saint also known as Nund Rishi, this shrine and mosque hold deep religious significance for Indian Muslims, particularly in the Kashmir Valley. Built in 1460 to honor Nund Rishi, the shrine was rebuilt after a devastating fire in 1995. It remains a sacred place in the cultural heritage of Kashmir, attracting pilgrims from far and wide.
After paying your respects at Chrari Sharief, continue your journey to Yusmarg. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the tranquility of this beautiful hill station, explore its natural wonders, and enjoy the rustic charm of the surroundings.
Yusmarg offers modest stay options, with some new homestays gaining popularity, especially among the youth. Among the fauna, you may encounter wolves, bears, apes, various bird species, and abundant aquatic life, including schizothorax.

DAY 07 : DEPARTURE FROM SRINAGAR
After enjoying a late morning breakfast, it's time to bid farewell to the beautiful land of Kashmir. Our driver will pick you up from your accommodation and drive you to Sheikhul-Alam International Airport for your flight home.
