DAY 01 : ARRIVE BANGALORE

Upon arrival in Bangalore, you will be met by a representative and transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Bangalore, also known as Bengaluru, is the capital city of the state of Karnataka in India. It is a bustling city that is known for its gardens, parks, and vibrant nightlife. After checking in, you can freshen up and relax for a while before heading out for an afternoon city tour of Bangalore. The city tour will include a visit to the Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens, which is spread over 240 acres and is home to over 1,000 species of plants. You can also visit Cubbon Park, which is a 300-acre park in the heart of the city that is popular among joggers and walkers.. Afternoon city tour of Bangalore. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 02 : BANGALORE - HASSAN BY ROAD 190 KMS 4 HOURS DRIVE

On the second day of your Karnataka tour, you will start your journey towards Hassan from Bangalore after breakfast. The distance between Bangalore and Hassan is approximately 190 kilometers and can be covered in about 4 hours by road. Later proceed to visit Belur and Halebid. Overnight at hotel. Hassan is a historical town in Karnataka, known for its stunning temples and rich cultural heritage.

On arrival in Hassan, you will check-in at the pre-booked hotel and freshen up. Later in the day, you will proceed to visit the famous temples of Belur and Halebid. Belur and Halebid are located close to Hassan and are home to some of the most magnificent temples of South India. The Chennakesava Temple at Belur and the Hoysaleswara Temple at Halebid are famous for their intricate carvings and sculptures. The temples are an excellent example of the Hoysala architecture style and are a must-visit for architecture enthusiasts.

After exploring the temples, you will return to your hotel in Hassan for an overnight stay.

DAY 03 : HASSAN - MYOSRE VIA SRAVANABELGOLA BY ROAD 115 KMS 3 HOURS DRIVE

After breakfast, drive towards Myosre via Sravanabelgola. Sravanabelgola is a historical and pilgrimage center located in the Hassan district of Karnataka. It is known for the statue of Gommateshwara Bahubali, which is one of the largest free-standing statues in the world. The statue is located on a hill and can be reached by climbing around 600 steps. The climb can be strenuous, but the view from the top and the statue itself are worth the effort. After visiting Sravanabelgola, you will continue your drive towards Mysore, which is around 115 km away. Upon arrival in Mysore, you will check in at your hotel and take some rest. Later, you will proceed for a sightseeing tour of Mysore, visiting attractions like Tipu Sultan's Palace, Brindavan Garden, and more. Mysore is also known for its silk sarees and sandalwood products, so you may want to do some shopping as well. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 04 : MYSORE

After a relaxed breakfast we drive for a morning sightseeing of the city of Mysore. Mysore, also known as the City of Palaces, has a rich history and cultural heritage. The first stop on today's sightseeing tour is the Mysore Palace, also known as the Amba Vilas Palace, which is the former residence of the Wodeyar dynasty. The palace is a splendid example of Indo-Saracenic architecture and boasts of a rich collection of artifacts, paintings, and sculptures.

Next, we visit the Chamundi Temple, located atop the Chamundi Hill. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Chamundi, the patron deity of the Wodeyar dynasty. The temple's architecture and design are stunning, and the views from the hill are breathtaking.

After that, we visit the Mysore Zoo, which is one of the oldest and most well-maintained zoos in the country. The zoo is home to a wide variety of animals, including tigers, lions, elephants, giraffes, and many more.

In the evening, we visit the Brindavan Gardens, which are located about 22 km away from Mysore. The gardens are a spectacular sight, especially when they are illuminated at night. There are several fountains and pools in the gardens, and a musical fountain show is held every evening.

After enjoying the beauty of the gardens, we return to our hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 05 : MYSORE - OOTY BY ROAD 170 KMS 4 HOURS DRIVE

On the fifth day of the itinerary, we will begin our journey towards Ootacamund, commonly known as Ooty, after having an early breakfast. Ooty is often referred to as the "Queen of the Southern Hill Stations" and is named after the Nilgiri or Blue Mountains due to the blue haze that surrounds the hill slopes, which the locals have used to refer to the hills for over 850 years. After arriving, we will check-in to our pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 06 : OOTY

On day 6 of the itinerary, the plan is to explore Ooty, also known as the Queen of Southern Hill stations. After an early breakfast, a drive is scheduled around the town to visit some of its popular attractions. First on the list is the Botanical Gardens, a beautiful garden spread across 22 hectares featuring rare species of plants and trees. Next is Lake Doddabetta, the highest lake in the Nilgiri Mountains, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills. Then the drive continues to Mukurti Peak, a scenic mountain peak located in the Nilgiris Biosphere Reserve, which is a popular spot for trekking and camping. Afterward, the journey takes us to Pykara Dam, a scenic lake with a dam located amidst lush green hills, and finally to a sprawling tea plantation, where one can witness the process of tea cultivation and indulge in some tea-tasting. The day concludes with an overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 07 : OOTY - COORG BY ROAD BY ROAD 360 KMS 6 HOURS DRIVE

Morning after having breakfast, you will start your journey towards Coorg from Ooty via Somnathopur. The total distance to be covered is approximately 360 kilometers, which would take around 6 hours to reach the destination. After arriving in Coorg, you will check-in at a resort and stay overnight.

DAY 08 : COORG

On Day 8, we will explore the beautiful region of Coorg or Kodagu. This area has maintained its picturesque beauty over the centuries and is known for its cash-rich coffee plantations, clear skies, and warm, friendly people. The British were homesick for this land and called it the Scotland of India. Coorg has a rich and ancient history, ruled by various dynasties such as Kadambas, Gangas, Chengalvars, Cholas, Hoysalas, Vijaynagara, and finally the British. Despite the various rulers, the region has retained its strong cultural heritage, which is distinctive to this day. The martial tradition of the region has produced many brave generals for India. We will visit the highlights of Coorg and return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 09: COORG - BANGALORE BY ROAD 260 KMS 5 HOURS DRIVE

Morning Drive back to Bangalore . Upon Arrival Transfer to Airport to board Flight for Onward Journey.
