DAY 01: ARRIVE DELHI
Upon arrival at International Airport. Traditional welcome & Transfer To Hotel. Afternoon half day tour of New Delhi visiting Qutab Minar, Humayun Tomb,India Gate,Parliament street etc. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 02: DELHI
Morning half day city tour of old Delhi visting Jama Masjid, Red fort and Chandni chowk etc. Afternoon leisure & free for shopping etc. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 03: DELHI - SAMODE - JAIPUR BY ROAD 260 KMS 6 HRS DRIVE
Morning drive to Jaipur the pink city of Rajasthan via Samode villages afternoon free. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 04: JAIPUR
Morning visit to Amber fort & enjoy elephant ride.Afternoon visiting Hawa Mahal, City palace and Museum etc. Overnight at Hotel
DAY 05: JAIPUR - FATEHPUR SIKIRI - AGRA (BY ROAD 232 KMS 5 HRS )
Morning drive to Agra enroute visit to Fatehpur sikri (The ghost city) later continue drive to Agra. On arrival, check in at your pre-booked hotel. to Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 06: AGRA
Full day city tour of Agra visting Taj Mahal, the mausoleum built by a sorrowing Shah Jehan in memory of his young wife, Mumtaz Mahal and Agra Fort etc.
DAY 07: AGRA - DELHI BY ROAD 210 KMS 04 HOURS DRIVE DELHI - VARANASI ( BY FLIGHT )
Today we take a short flight to the Varanasi. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to our pre-booked hotel. In the afternoon proceed to the village of Sarnath on the outskirts of town. It was in this Deer Park that the Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Visit the Park and Museum. Sarnath was made a centre of Buddhist worship by the emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century BC. We will visit the Main Shrine and Ashoka's Pillar. In the Archaeological Museum we will see the beautifully carved capital from the pillar along with many other priceless Buddhist artifacts. The highlight of this tour would be a participation in the evening Aarti ( prayer service) at the main Buddhist temple here. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 08: VARANASI
Today go for full day sightseeing tour of Varanasi formerly known as Benares, which is the city where the Hindu faithful come to bath in the sacred waters of the Ganges. Early this morning get ready for a dawn boat ride on the river Ganges. The Ganges is the most sacred and venerated river in India. Besides the ritualistic aspect of Hinduism ( thread ceremony, head shaving food to the departed souls etc.) also see the bathing. Laundry and the cremations of the dead that take place here on the banks of the river. After the boat ride walk through the fascinating narrow twisting lanes of the city to watch the performance of various Hindu rituals by the pilgrims.
After the boat trip on the Ganges, return to the hotel. After breakfast, will proceed for a city tour. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel.
DAY 09: VARANASI - DELHI ( BY FLIGHT )
Morning free. Afternoon transfer to airport to connect flight for Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, transfer to your Hotel. Rest of the day free. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 10: LEAVE DELHI
Departure transfer to the Airport in time to catch the flight to onward destination
